Run Easy8 on your own servers¶
Running Easy8 on your own servers keeps all your work data on infrastructure you control. These guides are for system administrators who install and maintain it. If you use Easy8 in the cloud, Easy8 runs and updates it for you.
Install¶
- Check the server requirements.
- Download the installation package from Client Zone. The Docker package is the preferred way to run Easy8; the legacy source package (zip) is for installations without Docker.
- Install Easy8 with Docker with Docker Compose.
- Put a reverse proxy with HTTPS in front of Easy8. The Docker guide includes an Nginx example.
Keep it running¶
- Upgrade Easy8 one LTS version at a time, with a backup before each step.
- Back up and restore your data with the steps in the Docker guide.
- Sign users in automatically with Kerberos single sign-on.
- Keep diagram editing inside your network with self-hosted draw.io.
Add Easy8 AI¶
Easy8 AI on-premises runs the AI services next to Easy8, with cloud models or with models on your own GPU servers.
